Anthony LaPaglia and Mercedes Ruehl reprise their roles from the second NY Revival in New York.second revival, which took place in 1995 from March 23 to April 30, running for 73 performances at the Circle in the Square Theatre. The original production starred Maureen Stapleton and Eli Wallach. It was adapted into a film in 1955 starring Anna Magnani who won an Oscar for her performance.
