Food justice, seed sovereignty, and community voices rooted in maize.
Radio Maíz is a food justice radio show dedicated to protecting people's right to healthy food and their right to food sovereignty. We uplift traditional and Indigenous food systems through the voices of communities, farmers, seed keepers, food experts, and food justice advocates, centering maize as an ancestral staple of the Americas.
The program educates not only through dialogue and information, but also through music and artistic expression that support our mission and vision. Our work affirms that healthy food is a common good, not a commodity.
