Written in 1961, Swiss playwright Friedrich Durrenmatt's satirical tragicomedy, The Physicists, was written in the aftermath of WWII, examining the expansion of nuclear technology posing questions of scientific ethics and humanity's responsibility in managing the repercussions both known and unknown.
Recorded before a live audience at the Skirball Cultural Center, Los Angeles in July of 2009.
