KPFK partners with non-profit organizations seeking radio promotion of their events in exchange for promotion of Pacifica Radio KPFK 90.7 to organization’s constituents, affiliates and friends through printed, web and other marketing tools utilized by the requesting organization. To request media sponsorship from KPFK, please fill out the attached document for your event and send it back with the promotional pieces you’re using to promote your event (press release, flyer, etc.). We will also ask you to prepare a web banner for use on our KPFK website, and promotional radio copy for the radio spot. Specifications follow.
KPFK Media Sponsorship
We usually offer a 14-day on-air and online Event Calendar promotion. Promos are generally scheduled 2-3 times per day. Home page web promotion within the “Featured Events” section is 1 week prior to the opening of your event. The precise details of your promotion will be confirmed upon the return of your MEDIA SPONSORSHIP REQUEST FORM.
As a trade, KPFK requests that the station be promoted to your constituents, via print, web and any other available means of promotion, e.g. the placement of our logo on the event website as a Media Sponsor; and that a certain number of tickets or passes be made available to our listeners as a giveaway. (Our KPFK logos pack will be sent to you upon approval of the Media Sponsorship.)
