LA Theatre Works, Sunday May 4 at 10:00 pm, Edmond Rostand's classic "Cyrano de Bergerac" starring Hamish Linklater

Written in 1897, Edmond Rostand's "Cyrano de Bergerac," a tale of the brilliant swordsman and wordsmith and his love for the beautiful Roxane remains of the great dramas of all time with tour de force roles brought to life by actors from Ralph Richardson and Derek Jacobi to Christopher Plummer, and a musical version starring Kevin Kline.  It has also had several film adaptations, including the 1950 film starring Jose Ferrer, as well as Steve Martin's modern update, "Roxane."

Recorded in Los Angeles before a live audience at The James Bridges Theater, UCLA in December of 2014.
