A major figure in the Golden Age of Radio, Norman Corwin is best known for writing and directing radio drama in the 30's and '40s. He was among the first to utilize entertainment to discuss serious social issues. Orson Welles, Rod Serilng, Gene Roddenberry, Norman Lear and others were inspired and influenced by this "The Grand Master of American Audio Theatre."
